Clarksville Elite Cheer Center

I am beyond disappointed and honestly heartbroken over our experience with Clarksville Elite Cheer. This was supposed to be a place where young girls are encouraged, supported, and built up—not torn down. What we witnessed was not “tough coaching.” It was inappropriate and, at times, cruel. The way some coaches spoke to athletes was completely unacceptable. No child should ever feel embarrassed, belittled, or afraid to speak because of how an adult might respond. This is supposed to be a youth program—not an environment where kids are made to feel small. One coach asked my daughter if she was autistic or just slow. As a parent, nothing is more upsetting than watching your child lose confidence because of how they are treated by adults who are supposed to mentor them. That is exactly what happened here. What makes it even more frustrating is that when concerns were brought forward, they were not taken seriously. There was no accountability, no meaningful follow-up, and no real effort to fix the situation. That speaks volumes. On top of that, team placements seemed completely misaligned, setting athletes up to struggle rather than succeed. The results reflected that, but more imp

We joined the cheer program shortly after it opened. We are finishing up the 1st season. We absolutely love this cheer center. My daughter is thriving. Her tumbling skills have improved tremendously. As with any program, practices try to stay consistent but have to adjust occasionally to best meet the needs of the athletes. Schedules for competitions were given at the beginning of the year so it was easy to prepare for the out of town times. The biggest complaint would be lack of attendance by other athletes, but that is not the fault of the gym or coaches. You get what you put into a program. This one provides ample opportunities to grow and improve skills. If you have questions about the program, just ask! Mariah (director of the cheer program) is easily available and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Clarksville Elite Cheer Center has been incredible for our daughter! She has gained so much confidence in her tumbling. All of the coaches are amazing and treating each child with compassion! I highly recommend Clarksville Elite Cheer Center to anyone looking for compassionate, hard working, competitive and dedicated coaches.

CECC is everything we have been looking for in a cheer program! From great coaches who foster a positive environment to learning about all things cheer (sideline, stunts, all-star, co-ed stunting, stretching/flexibility and tumbling). The communication with parents is top notch. I love the support from our littles all the way to our senior and college aged kids in the gym! We love Clarksville Elite Cheer Center because it is somewhere we can truly grow and be successful!
